This (4) four hour course for safe gun handling is conducted in the students home. Providing a personal in depth lesson in the environment where firearm safety starts. Topics covered include:
- Rules for safe gun handling
- Primary causes of firearms accidents
- Firearm nomenclature (Parts)
- Recognition of different firearms and action types
- How to safely load and unload different action types
- Ammunition components
- Cleaning, care, and safe storage of firearms in the home.
Upon completion a participation certificate is awarded.
